Graeme Rael is the Managing Partner of Rael Development Corporation and is responsible for shaping and executing RAELCORP’s multifaceted real estate strategy. A 25-year veteran in the real estate finance, investment and development businesses, Graeme has been integral in shaping RAELCORP’s growth over the last two decades. Under his leadership, RAELCORP has grown consistently and successfully in both size and reach, acquiring and developing multi-family, retail and student housing assets from Washington State to North Carolina, and numerous locations in between.

Prior to assuming his role with RAELCORP, Graeme worked with New York- based Sonnenblick-Goldman Company, where he structured and arranged over $1 billion in equity and debt transactions during his tenure at the firm. Mr. Rael received his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where he currently resides with his wife and family.

Stephen Whitehead is a Partner and Director of Capital Markets for Rael Development Corporation. In addition to managing RAELCORP’s capital relationships including structuring and arranging both debt and equity transactions for the firm, Mr. Whitehead plays in integral role in executing RAELCORP’s growth and expansion strategies across its various investment platforms.

Mr. Whitehead is a long-time industry expert that has capital relationships that go back several decades. Prior to joining RAELCORP, Mr. Whitehead was a Managing Director at Northmarq Capital, structuring and arranging debt and equity for sophisticated real estate investors for over 26 years. Over his long career, Mr. Whitehead has completed over $5 billion in transactions and has cultivated valued relationships with our nation’s most active institutional lenders and investors. Over the past decade, he has developed a particular focus within the Student Housing and Multifamily sectors, completing complex transactions from coast to coast.

Mr. Whitehead is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson for the State of Texas. He resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and family.

Mr. Avila is a Partner and Director of Development for Rael Development Corporation where he leads all of RAELCORP’s development and construction activities. Mr. Avila has over 25 years of experience in Design, Construction and Development and currently oversees all pre-development, project planning and construction management teams, as well as the on-site teams in their management of RAELCORP’s stabilized assets.

Mr. Avila’s diverse knowledge of the construction and development process, as well as his collaborative approach has led to success across a wide range of real estate projects. RAELCORP’S reputation for consistently delivering on-budget and on-time is attributable to Mr. Avila’s careful planning and intensive management practices. While important in any development, the ability to consistently deliver projects on time is especially critical in the student housing sector, where occupancy is timed based on the start of the school year.

Prior to joining RAELCORP, Mr. Avila managed construction projects nationwide, ranging in size from $5 million to $3.9 billion. His experience spans multiple product types including Multifamily, Student Housing, Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Mixed Use Developments, Retail, and Hotel & Resort developments both domestic and international. Billy received his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design/Architecture from Texas A&M University. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and family.

Mr. Green is a Partner and Director of International Finance for Rael Development Corporation, where he manages capital relationships across Europe, Israel and South Africa. Mr. Green has been integral in RAELCORP’s investment strategies over the last 10+ years. He is a veteran wealth manager, working closely with institutional and private clients in their Financial, Real Estate and Private Equity transactions. For more than a decade, he has driven RDC's commercial success outside of the US, building a wide network of partnerships, and managing their transactions to completion.  Mr. Green graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa with an Economics and Finance degree. He is based out of Israel, where he lives with his wife and children.

Mr. Hamilton is the Director of Accounting for Rael Development Corporation and its affiliated entities. Proficient in all functions related to accounting, reporting and taxation, Mr. Hamilton has been a key RAELCORP professional for the last 11 years. In his capacity as Director of Accounting, Mr. Hamilton is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day asset management functions for the firm including managing construction cost disbursements, P&L budgeting & management, investment partnership accounting and reporting, and interfacing with both inside and outside accounting teams.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hamilton held senior accounting roles in several top tier Dallas Fort Worth accounting firms, amassing experience in the areas of oil & gas accounting, as well as real estate and investment management. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and resides in Dallas, Texas.

As Creative Director for Raelcorp, Sharon Blumberg brings over 25 years of experience in design, brand development, marketing, and project management to our team. Sharon began her career with an Interior Design degree from the University of Arizona, with an emphasis on purpose-driven environments and sustainability. Her comprehensive approach is fueled by her philosophy that great design leads to elevated experiences.

Sharon’s unique combination of skills is the cumulative result of managing a diverse range of creative projects throughout her career. She is responsible for inspiring and supervising our collaborative design process from concept to completion ensuring our high standards are represented throughout our properties, our marketing, and our strong brand identity. Sharon resides in Dallas, TX with her husband and family.

Mr. Acciavatti is a Director in Finance with Rael Development Corporation where he assists the senior leadership team in evaluating, underwriting, and structuring a broad range of real estate investment transactions. He is especially skilled in developing highly-sophisticated investment models, enabling the team to analyze complex transactions, investment structures and strategies at highly detailed levels.    

Prior to joining RAELCORP, Mr. Acciavatti assisted in raising equity for several start-up companies and real estate ventures, created the DICE Project Analytics tool, developed multi-attribute decision models for a county-wide $1.5B 20-year strategic capital budgeting, built predictive models for likelihood of default for Fintech companies, and various other projects.

Mr. Acciavatti holds an MBA from Duke University and a CMA (Certified Management Accountant). He is eligible to sit for CFA Level III, reads widely in statistics / finance / valuation / decision science, is training in Microsoft Power BI, skilled in using @Risk Decision Suite software, and an expert user of Excel.
